Product Information

Syncool G 3175 is a mineral, emulsifiable fluid for non-problematic machining processes where cooling is of primary importance. Due to the added emulsifiers, a milky, stable emulsion is formed after mixing with water.

Syncool G 3175 is free from both nitrites and formaldehyde-releasing agents and is used for machining (turning, drilling, sawing) various types of steel. It protects workpieces from corrosion and has a low tendency to foam.

Add Syncool G 3175 to water with a hardness between 10° dH and 25° dH while stirring. Never add Syncool G 3175 first and water second; in this order, a stable emulsion will not be formed.

Syncool G 3175 is highly suitable for cutting operations on unalloyed and low-alloy steel on
lathes and pillar drills. Check compatibility with non-ferrous metals before use.

Syncool G 3175 yields 1° Brix per % in emulsion and has a recommended use concentration of 7% in water.
